Singapore

Welcome to Singapore!

In February, I've been invited by the Singapore Tourism Office and The Club Hotel, to discover this beautiful country! I was always thinking about visiting it while a long transit to Asia, as most of the people does, and I discover this country deserves much more than this !!! I stayed a week there, and trust me, I should be happy to stay a week more, time to really visit everything, taking more time for enjoying it much more!

The different cultures, the history of the country, the different kinds of architecture (the contrast between modern and more historical one is crazy if you love taking pictures!) are awesome, and let you enjoying a really nice atmosphere.

See by yourself below, the pictures worst thousand words! And don't miss all my good plans at the end of the article!

ENJOY !!

First step after a 12 hours long flight...of course the hotel !!!

Direction The Club Hotel, a wonderful boutique hotel, with 20 luxurious rooms in a 1900’s heritage building, who invited me for my whole stay in Singapore.

This place is so beautiful, all the people working there I met were extremly kind, answering to all my questions.

I had an incredible room, soooo biiiiiig!

This place is perfect too for the evening/night life, bar Mr&Mrs Maxwell's on the ground, bar Tiger's Milk on the rooftop too, the restaurant Disgruntled Brasserie, what else !

Let's go to explore, Chinatown with the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, so awesome inside as outside, and the Hock Keng (also know as the Tianfu Temple) with a big contrast between the architecture inside and the one in the background!

The colorful Little India, with the famous Residence of Tan Teng Niah and so many rainbow colors shophouses!

A visit at the Marina Bay Sand, on the infinity pool on the rooftop, and to the Art Science Museum, for feeling like a child ^^ I really enjoyed it!

The stunning Gardens By The Bay (Flower Dome & Cloud Forrest) and the Garden Rhapsody Show, so magical to see and listen!

Kampong Glam, Katong-Joo Chiat, Qlarke Quay, all these little district are full of amazing streets, with different architectures!

Singapore at night!! My favorite part! For many reasons, the first one is because I love shooting at night of course. The second is because the weather is less warm and this is something you really enjoy, trust me! The last reason is because the safety of the city, women, men or children, no matter which hour is it, and no matter where you are in the city, it's 100% SAFE ! It was so strange at the beginning but so enjoyable to let my bagpack with all my photography stuffs inside, open on the floor, and going to shoot without thinking about what it could happen if someone weird see it. In Singapore, you never have to think about this kind of things, about safety in general, and it's soooo cool !!

Welcome to the Jungle! ^^ At Southern Ridges and MacRitchie Reservoir Park, for making some new little friends! ^^ (sorry but I love monkeys so much!)

Here's Shanti, my lovely guide during all the week! She's been so kind and helpful, and for me as french guy, she were perfect, speaking french fluently!

I shot her at the Rochor Centre! Beautiful colorful buildings!

Still in front of your screen?! What are you expecting for going to Singapore !!!

Hope you enjoyed the virtual visit !
