Djerba Island by Radisson Blu
Djerba Island!
By these 2 words, it was very easy to convince me to come and spend a short stay at the Radisson Blu Ulysse Resort & Thalasso when they contact me to come celebrate the 55 years of the hotel, especially in the middle of the parisian winter!
And if it was not difficult to convince me, he was at the time to leave! I will have stayed there a week more because this place is so relaxing, sublime, where life is really good!
Located right on the beach, the Radisson Blu Ulysse Resort & Thalasso is a refined hotel mixing modern and traditional. The rooms have all their private terraces, mine with views on the sea and pool, what else!
And as its name suggests, the Thalasso is also at the heart of the hotel with 500m2 dedicated to revitalizing treatments and massages, two swimming pools, a private beach, Turkish bath and sauna...the dream!
We add 3 restaurants, 5 bars, Mediterranean and Tunisian specialties, and the conclusion is that we don't want to go home!
Ready for the visit ?!
Let's start with the room, ocean view one, and therefore its magnificent view!
The outdoor pool and relaxing corners
Access to the Thalasso and its incredible indoor pool!
A quick passage in the wonderful lobby of the Radisson Blu Palace, stuck to Ulysse
The Radisson Blu Ulysse had also concocted us a lot of visits on the island, below the magnificent Museum of Guellala, with its exterior paths, scenes of typical lives represented, and its beautiful architecture!
The calm of a small fishing port!
Another museum then, but open one, the village of Djerbahood! This village has been invested by Street-Art artists from around the world, and has become over the years a panorama of world Street-Art, a must-see attraction in Tunisia!
Then a visit of Houmt Essouk, administrative chief town of the island, and famous for its souk and its alleys.
A big thanks to the Radisson Blu for this very nice long weekend on the island of Djerba, and to the Radisson Blu Ulysse Resort & Thalasso teams where everything was really perfect!
Hoping to come back soon !!
